Colposcopy

In our unit we perform the full investigation of the cervix and manage the subsequent problems that may arise. Michael Lazanakis holds the Diploma of the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and can offer the full spectrum of therapeutic options.

During colposcopy it is possible, if indicated, to take cervical or vulva biopsies if there is a suspicious pathology.

Colposcopy is also offered as a part of the screening programme that we offered to our women in conjuction with breast examination, gynaecological ultrasound and general physical examination.
